Diego A. Cisneros
President of the Board
Mr. Cisneros is a natural born entrepreneur having started and led businesses in various industries such as bottling, farming, supermarkets, computing and real estate. His advise and counsel are invaluable to the direction of the Child Brain Foundation. He holds a B.S. from Boston College.

Juan Manuel Pascual, M.D., Ph.D.
Medical and Scientific Director
Dr. Juan M. Pascual holds appointments to the faculty of the Departments of Neurology, Pediatrics, and Physiology of The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he conducts research on the genetic and molecular basis of neurological and neuromuscular diseases of childhood. His research focuses on the molecules that regulate nerve and muscle excitability and communication, and has published and lectured extensively in this field. He is a member of the Society for Neuroscience, the Biophysical Society and the Society of General Physiologists, among other professional organizations. He specializes in diseases of the nervous and neuromuscular systems of infants and children with a particular emphasis on complex diagnostic problems.

Albertina M. Cisneros
Executive Director
It was her concern for the advancement of pediatric neurological research that originated the Child Brain Foundation. She has a broad finance background having worked in investment banking and in various finance capacities within the travel and payments industries. She holds a B.S. degree in Finance from Boston College and an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business.

Alfonso Montiel
Advisory Board Member
Mr. Montiel is a co-founder and currently Managing Director for Alsis Funds, a Miami based investment firm focusing on Latin America. Before launching Alsis, Mr. Montiel was the Vice President of Supply Chain Transformation and BPO for EDS. He has held management consulting and executive positions with companies such as ICG Commerce, A.T. Kearney and American Express. Mr. Montiel holds a MBA from Columbia University and a law degree from Universidad del Zulia in Venezuela. Mr. Montiel was also recognized by Hispanic Engineer & Information Technology magazine as one of the 50 Most Important Hispanics in Technology and Business for 2004. He has served in the Boards of the Chiapas Project for Micro-finance in Mexico and the Dallas World Affairs Council, he also serves on the avisory boards of Women for Women International.

Tatiana Angel
Advisory Board Member
Tatiana Angel is a free-lance journalist working with travel and entertainment magazines across Latin America and the US. She has extensive experience in public relations, communications, and advertising having worked with Bellsouth, Tower Records and Ocean Drive Magazine among others. She has also lead and organized some of South Florida's most special events and fundraising functions. She has a B.A. in French and Communications from Pine Manor College and a Masters in International Relations from L'Insitut D'Etudes de Relations Internationales.

Alejandro Perez Duque

Mr. Pérez Duque is Underwriter of PVG Insurance, a risk management, advisory and insurance brokerage firm. Prior to the formation of PVG, Mr. Pérez Duque worked as Chief Of Staff to the CEO at Violy, Byorum, & Partners, an investment bank based in NY focused on Latin America. Mr. Pérez Duque holds a B.S. degree with double concentration in Finance, and in Operations and Strategic Management from Boston College.

Howard (Hank) Greenberg
Advisory Board Member
Hank Greenberg is a retired business executive who has owned, during his long business career, a chain of furniture stores, regional sales and marketing organization, and a case goods factory among the many entrepreneurial ventures he has undertaken. He presently is a trustee of the New England College of Optometry where he takes active participation in the Finance/Audit, Investment, and Facilities committees. He is a senior consultant at the Center for Women & Enterprise where he helps budding entrepreneurs and early start companies with developing business plans, marketing programs and financial projection models. He also prepares and lectures on a variety of subjects for this expanding organization.

Alejandro Suero
Advisory Board Member
Alejandro Suero is the President of Suero & Suero, LLC, a real estate company specializing in residential sales/condo conversions in Florida. He is a member of the Miami Art Museum Partners (MAMP) and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Miami (MOCA). He has also been involved in fund raising events for the San Jorge Children's Foundation in San Juan, Puerto Rico as well as the Ronald McDonald Children's Charities. He has a B.S. in International Relations and International Business from Boston University.

Carolina Giraldo
Advisory Board Member
Carolina Giraldo is a former entrepreneur in the women's jewelry business and a professional gemologist from L'Institut National de Gemmologie a Paris. Prior to that she worked as an architect for a large construction company. Carolina has a Bachelors Degree in Architecture and a Masters Degree in Architectural Interior Design from the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (Spain)
Currently, Carolina divides her time between volunteering for good causes and raising her two children in Dallas, TX.

Amy Ramirez
Advisory Board Member
Amy Ramirez is a 15-year commercial real estate veteran, working with CB Richard Ellis' (CBRE) Retails Services in Dallas. She assists her clients in leasing, disposition and acquisition assignments, and consulting. Her clients have included: Whole foods, DDR, KMICO, The SIETZ Group, GreenStreet Properties among many others. She has a BA from Southern Methodist University in Public Relations. Amy has also worked for Falcon Companies and Staubauch Retail Services in Dallas and Newport Beach, California.
